Salted duck egg
Telur asin is a salted duck egg. This is a preserved food product made by soaking duck eggs in brine, or packing each egg in damp, salted charcoal. Despite its name, salted duck eggs can also be made from chicken eggs, though the taste and texture will be somewhat different, and the egg yolk will be less rich. Note: Thanks to Siswanto for the recipe and its pictures.
30-40 duck eggs
1 kilogram of salt
2 kilograms of powdered charcoal
Prepare the ingredients.
